Bargaining Update:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all members for your continued support, patience, and solidarity throughout the current bargaining process. Your FSRA bargaining team has been actively meeting, reviewing member concerns, and preparing for the next phase of discussions with the employer.

At the beginning of the bargaining process, your bargaining team conducted two member surveys to better understand the concerns, priorities, and opinions of our membership. We sincerely appreciate all members who took the time to participate and provide valuable feedback. Your input plays an important role in helping guide the bargaining process and ensuring that members’ voices are heard.

Your bargaining team has carefully reviewed the previous collective agreement line by line, with an eye to what you identified in the survey as your greatest concerns. We remain committed to representing the collective interests of the membership and ensuring that the direction of negotiations reflects the priorities identified by members.

We are currently agreeing on new dates for bargaining with the employerdue to employer-side personnel changes, targeting dates in September. Once we have presented our demands to the employer, we will share those documents with the membership, so that you can see how we have captured the things you asked us to fight for.

We understand that many members are eager for updates regarding the bargaining process. Please know that your bargaining team remains committed to advocating professionally, responsibly, and in the best interests of all members. Negotiations require time, preparation, and careful consideration, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and unity demonstrated by our membership throughout this process.

In addition to bargaining preparations, the union continues to support members in day-to-day workplace matters and remains committed to maintaining open communication. The participation and solidarity of our members strengthens our collective voice and helps ensure that member concerns continue to be recognized and addressed.

We encourage all members to stay connected, watch for future updates, and continue supporting one another as we move into the next phase of negotiations.
